Hopefully someone may know who this is. I have nothing else to suggest who it is, or where it came from it's just a page from a book. No text what so ever on it.

Arthur Fitzroy Hart, (later Fitzroy-Hart-Synott) he served in the Anglo-Zulu War as a 'Special-Service Officer'. Present at Nyezane 22/1/1879 where he was a Staff-Officer of 2nd Regiment, N.N.C. (Mentioned in Dispatches). Then served as a Staff-Officer in the Eshowe Relief Force, under Lord Chelmsford, present at the Battle of Gingindlovu 2/4/1879. Afterwards served as Brigade-Major of 2nd Brigade, 1st Division "Crealock's Crawlers". After the disbandment of 1st Division served as Principle Staff-Officer in Clarke's Column.
He would return to South Africa for the 2nd Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902, where he commanded "The Irish Brigade."

cant say for sure which book the photo is from , but, there was a book printed,
LETTER"S OF MAJOR- GENERAL FITZROY-HART by SYNOT, LONDON 1912. PUBLISHER . E. ARNOLD LONDON 1912. I was looking to purchase a copy, but either i couldnt find one, or it was very expensive cant remember which !!. hope this helps.
