“John Crichton was from Barony, Glasgow, Scotland. He was a man who got into a LOT of trouble while in the army.
Pte Crichton's copy service papers will show he was clearly a bit of a 'bad lad' and was constantly in trouble. (Don’t have copy of service papers)

(3) Imprisoned for Absence.
(4) Court martial for Receiving Stolen Property.
(5) Forfeited South Africa Medal, by order of District Court Marshall, 15th November 1879.
