Natal Witness 9th August 1881 Landrey's Horse Kei Road August 8 Landrey's Horse arrived here from Leribe yesterday. They will be disbanded at once.

Landry’s Light Horse were raised for the BaSotho Gun War of 1880-1, the unit lost three troopers killed in action in March, 1881 in the Mafeteng area of operations.
