There is no mention of this soldier in the book The Rorkes Drift Men by James W Bancroft

Hi All,
Another newspaper report puts him in N/5 RA, but he does not appear on the roll or any other RArt roll.
The 1901 census he is a Postman married to Emma [Mercer] with a son and two stepsons, in Edinburgh. He is buried in Warriston Cemetery Edinburgh.
