Hi All,
George Provost, does not appear on 1 KDG, 2/21st, 58th, 94th, ASC, or HMS Boadicea, medal rolls so cannot place him in the 1st Boer War for Majuba, and no military records. All Census 1891 to 1921 give the address as Bath, he born 1854 Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, married to Mary with 3 children, he starts as a Draper by 1911 he must have a shop as he is now given as Fancy Drapers, employing two people with 3 servents, sounds as if he was doing well for himself. He died 21 Dec 1926 and is buried in Locksbrook Cemetery, Bath Section Plot Walcot. He is on the findagrave website but there is no picture of the grave.
