Private James Moger, 2 Company, Portsmouth Division served as part of the Naval Brigade from HMS Shah during the Zulu War and was present at the Battle of Gingindlovo where the "Shah's" marines supported the navy's rockets. Entitled to the South Africa Medal with "1879" clasp. Confirmed as Moger on the medal rolls.
