Another Rorke's Drift Hero.Shocked  I though we only had 155/7 at the Drift. More like 700 at this rate:j:

Hi All
Henry Parker enlisted 22 Sept 1864, age 19, born 1844/45 Bungay Suffolk, to 25/1056 1/24th to S Africa 28 Nov 1874, to 2 Oct 1879, promoted Corporal 10 June 1879, Zulu and Kaffir War 77/8/9 medal, discharged 31 Jan 1890 25 yrs. Married Edwards Manzano 10 Aug 1874 in Gibraltar, 4 children. Does not mention Rorke's Drift in his papers.
1911 Census 1 Beach Villas Park Road, Farnham, he is a widow, Army Pensioner and Army Mess Waiter.
