Hi All,
George D. Whitelock born circa 1863/64 attested 6 april 1883 discharged 5 april 1895 Hampshire Regt, i automatically thought to young maybe a later Zulu campaign, he did serve in the Burmese War 1885/87, his campaigns and medals list S A 1879, and a note states Served with the Royal Navy, one for Petty officer Tom, the only G Whitelock i could find listed was a 3rd Class Domestic H.M.S Forester 1879 Bar, would have been 15 or 16 at the time. He dies June 1932 buried St Judes Church Cemetery, Windsor District.
