| Checked Tavender's Casualty Roll for Sth Africa 77-78 no Waite's from either of those two Regt's were listed as wounded . 90th |

| Hi All, Can't find any military, Chas Dent Waite died 6 Oct 1939 and was buried on the 9th Oct at Herndean Road Cemetery, Caversham, Reading, Berkshire. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |

| Charles Dent Waite, retired Ironmonger. b.1857 Caversham, Reading, England. Partner Elizabeth Catherine Ann Osborn 1861-1891, Chichester, no information on marriage. Probate 1939 Jane Waite of Reading, widow, d. 1956. So at some point married Jane after the death of Elizabeth.
Also Ancestry:
Born in Spalding, Lincolnshire, England on July 1885 to Charles Dent Waite and Elizabeth Catherine Ann Osborn. Albert Edward Bloomfield Waite married Ethel Evelyn Edwards 1887- unknown. He passed away on 1 January 1915 in the Waverly Hotel, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England. |
