| Smith could be her married name. If not there are seven Smiths in the AHC. Without an initial could be any of them. No Penningtons either [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Harrow Observer - Tuesday 07 December 1971 |

| Hi All , Difficult one this with no true result. Jenny Pennington Moore married Walter H. Smith 1909 in Kensington, correct date for diamond wedding. There are two Moore's on the AHC medal Roll. Pvt A Moore No. 4015 AHC and Sgt H Moore No.3088 AHC, but i can't find any other military records for these two. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |

| Kate,
I believe it's the father we are looking for "Pennington Moore" who later served in South Africa. |

| Hi Kate, There is no first name Pennington surname Moore, or the surname Pennington Moore, on the Birth Marriages Deaths in England since 1837. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |

| Hi
On Googling Pennington more, I came across a Margaret, possibly sister to Jenny. Lancasterwright.com came up and the following details were revealed about the father:
The Barracks, Lincoln, dau Henry Moore, Army Hospital Corps. Wife: Jane Moore, nee Evans.
Residence 1882, Lincoln, England, The Barracks, Army Hospital Corps.
Kate's post Wednesday 7th September 2022, 12:35 mentioned him. I believe it may be the same man.
