Hi All,
William Johnson enlisted 30 Jan 1872 born 20 Aug 1853 Hornsea London, to S Africa 29 Feb 1879 to 19 Sept 1879, Zulu War, also served Egypt 1882 tel el kebir, LSGC medals, Married Caroline Troughton 10 April 1883 at St Margarets Westminster, one daughter Florence born 1884 died Cairo 1907. promoted Q/m 1 Dec 1897, Hon Capt 1 Dec 1907, Retired 25 Jan 1908. He Died 21 April 1912, and was buried 25 April 1912 in Streatham Cemetery, London, burial record 16671, sec N/55 consecrated. Caroline was also buried later in sept 1931.
