A bit more info about him. Two bars would suggest Boer War. I can't find an officer named Saltmarshe in my Boer War Last Post book

Eddie,

Can you see anything wrong with your statement:
Lt Arthur Henry Saltmarshe 90th regiment died 30 Apr 1878 in the Zulu war.?

Thanks Eddie for doing that, saved me a bit of work.
Much appreciated Salute

There are three Fletcher's shown in the AZW medal rolls for the 90th

1/Private 1377 F Fletcher 1877-78-79 clasp
2/Private 1304 T Fletcher 1879 no medal deserted
3/ Private 1212 W Fletcher 1877-78-79 clasp

An 'E' could very easily be read as an 'F' when transcribing difficult to read text and with the correct clasp it could be 1377
