Charles Albert Brentnall, attested 15 April 1878 age 20, born 1858 Middlesborough, to 17th Lcrs No.2101, to S Africa 25 feb 1879, arrived Natal 6 April 1879, to India 8 Oct 1879 arriving India 20 Oct 1879. At Lucknow 17 June 1889, Discharged at Bombay on payment of £11.00 served 11yrs. Intended residance 28 Victoria Rd Middlesborough. 1871 census at Fathers, Bridge st, Middlesborough. 1901 census 38 Ayresome Terrace Middlesboro, {Ayresome Park Middlesboro Old Football Ground}, he is a Coal Merchant, married to Emily Maud with 3 children, 1911 census 30 Southfield Rd Middlesboro, Now Coal Merchant Manager, M to Emily, 6 Children, Charles Died 12 Nov 1915, he was buried on the 16th Nov 1915 at Linthorpe Cemetery [North Riding] Yorkshire.
