I can't find a Quinn in the RA medal rolls

Oh he's there alright.... In Forsyth. Bombadier T.Quinn 687 6th Bgde M Battery RA , my son has his medal !! , medal with 1879 Clasp ! .

Hey hey does that mean I've finally found an article relating to one of your medal?

In Duttons he is shown as Quin (one n) is it the same in Forsyths?

Yes , I've certainly seen him !! hahahahahahaha , and yes also one ' n ' in Forsyth , actually it does seem only the one N in Quin . Will send you an email .

Hi All,
Thomas Quinn b.10 March 1855, father Thomas Quinn R Artillery, to Royal Hibernian School Dublin 1865, to R Art + Zulu War. Married Ellen Tracey 16 Dec 1877 Folkestone, 1901 Folkestone 5 kids, 1911 census 14 Mill Bay Folkestone he is b.1857 Haggerstown Cty Wicklow Ireland. He was buried 2 Jan 1935 at St Peter's Church Folkestone. His son William John KIA 1916 France Machine Gun Corps.
