Hi All,
Another wrong newspaper Joseph Martin RN Acting Gunner HMS Active only served aboard the Active from 13 March 1878 to 17 May 1878 so only served during the Kaffir Wars, he became an Officer serving through to WW1 he was born 5 March 1849/50, Married Mary, he enlisted 5 March 1867. He died 13 May 1920, and is probably buried in Scotland?
