John
Reading some of the other reports in the Witness there seemd to be a determined effort to keep her away from Eugenie.

And have just read in the 19th of June Natal Witness that one of her escort from the N.M.P. has been arrested but it does not say why.

Hi Kate
If I remember correctly she was following Eugenie from a distance , she said she worked for Eugenie at one time , I even think
Wood rode back to Lady Avonmore stating she was to no longer follow them ? , with that I think she returned to Piertermaritzburg ? . I believe it's well covered in ' Ladies in the Veldt ' by Brian Roberts

90th Very Happy
