Does anyone know who the Magistrate of Ladysmith was in January 1879?
I know it was a Moodie - but which one!!?? There were several from the same family.

Don't bother - I've just been able to answer my own question from a source hidden away in my own notes..
It was William James Dunbar Moodie, father of the Trooper Moodie kia Isandhlwana.
