hi all. I bet we all wish we were with Neil today as he walks around the Isandlwana Battlefield , hopefully clicking madly so we can see his latest pictures . cheers 90th.

Im very jelous! I spoke to a manager at the lodge today, she said they had a nice little function there, probably a memorial service I imagine. And theyre having a half marathon, from Isandlwana to rorkes drift
I just watched a documentry on sky about rorkes drift, very intresting. Time to watch Zulu dawn me thinks

hi joe. There are several doco"s and a movie / doco , I will try and post the links for you , mostly from ebay.
There are others on Amazon or ABE either from the USA or UK. The ones I have posted can be purchased cheaper , its just a case of waiting and checking ebay daily. Hope this helps . cheers 90th.

At 11.30am 22.1.2010 we had a small service at the 24th memorial, after a few words from Mike to remember those in red and leopard skin who fell that day, followed by a minutes silence, broken only by the swifts chattering in the breeze, Mike placed a wreath on behalf of the regiment. Quite a moving moment, It wasn't an occasion to take pictures really.
