Don’t lets forget Rorkes Drift; soon it will be their turn to fight for survival. Doe's anyone know the time diffrence. I posted this at 23:53 UK. Would the Battle of Rorkes Drift had started.
RIP To all at Isandlwana. 131 Years on and your names are still remembered.

We remember and pay homage to those brave men on both sides who lost their lives During the Battle of Isandlwana 22nd Jan 1879 & Battle of Rorkes Drift 22nd/ 23rd Jan 1879
But lets us not forget the Soldiers of today. Lets us remember them like we do to the hero’s of 1879.

Hi Anyone got any information on the above please? My great-great-grandfather Thomas Mann was in the Afghan War at the same time and we have been doing a bit of lineage research. Be interesting if there was some connection - albeit chances small I guess.
