Deputy . Commy.-Gen. Long, J. Prior to disembarkation at Durban in April, 1879, this officer received on board ship a serious injury, from which he never completely recovered . He proceeded, notwithstanding, to Pietermaritzburg, and served as Director of Supplies to the Forces.
Would be interested to know what happen on Board ship ref: Injuries.
