| Hi There is usually a modern paperback copy on ebay quite often £10-£15, an original will cost £100 plus. Might have it on the National Army Museum sight. Rai keynshamlighthorse |

| Hi springbok and 90th. re, dp&g and keith smith,it was a couple of years ago in that ' other place ' that i read that keith had sever- ed all connection with dp&g. and threatened to sue if they tried to sell any more of his work.
Now to me dp&g were horribly expensive and the illustrations were without exception very poor.just my opinion.saying that it still did'nt stop me purchasing all keiths work inc a lot of others'
So now im wondering if keith has resolved any issues he had with them. cheers xhosa2000 |

| Hi Les . I've had many dealings with DP&G and I cant remember ever having a problem with them , some items can be classed as expensive but from memory these are the harder to find publications . I was looking for one of K.Smith's books and couldnt find it anywhere, and when I did , it was really expensive , DP&G have it for a good price . Cheers 90th. |

| Frank,Gary, thats fine if you are pleased with your purchases, you pays yer money and make your choice, what i'm really saying is that yes, if you cant get your hands on the original then dp&g prove to be valuable source for the hard- core who must have this infomation at any price.
As said i have all Keiths output, lastly his out- standing Wedding feast. but i tend to find their volumes a bit ' samey ' and even garish. my real problem with them is their reproduction of photograph's..the illustrations are mainly fine.. i give as my prime example..Stalker's, The Natal Carbineer's, i was so disappointed when it arrived i was sorely tempted to send it straight back..and it was'nt cheap..£50.00. ( it still is ) but one day i will get a decent copy of the orig- inal.they always surface from time to time.
Frank, hope its there for you.been advised that your postal service aint what it could be. ( by several of your country men.). cheers xhosa2000 |
