Great news. No doubt it will be as successful as the other 7 volumes. It’s always good to see new material. And of course knowing the author has researched the facts firsthand makes it more worthwhile having.

hi pete.
Great to see that Number 8 is hot off the presses , Excellent news . This edition will no doubt be as good as the
previous seven wonderfully researched products from the Queen of research , Kris Wheatley . For those that don't
know , Kris is the Doyen of the research world . I know we often extol the virtues of the Legacy Series , but why wouldn't
we , They are a wonderful insight into certain individuals during and after their heroic defence of Rorkes Drift . Basically
nameless and faceless till Kris Wheatley decided it was time these lads from the past were given the recognition
they are due . I along with many others are looking forward to numbers 9 and 10 . Dont know if Kris is a visitor to the
forum but hope she doesnt take it the wrong way in regard to me waiting for 9 and 10 :lol!: . Kris if you do manage
to read this or hear of it , well done on another volume's completion Idea

Agreed with all comments. And the Proceeds are donated to armed forces charity which is a very good and worthwhile cause. Kris Wheatley doe's it for the right reasons.!!!

I have copies 3 & 5 I have not read them yet, because my wife has been reading them. She has taken quite an interest in Genealogy thanks to these books, she now want's the whole collection. (So that will be her Xmas present this year)

I like that "The Queen of research" At least we know this young lady does her own research. And Produces such excellent books. I could not even begin to imagine how much work this lady puts into finding the information she doe's. Well done Kris Wheatley. Idea
