Fallowfield, Hugh Gordon. Ensign, 23rd October, 1867; lieutenant, 28th May, 1870. Was on the guard of honour, and carried the colour at the wedding of H.R.H. Princess Louise with the Marquis of Lome, 21st March, 1871. Captain, 15th March, 1879. Served in the Zulu War of 1879 ; was present at the battle of Ginginhlovo and relief of Ekowe (medal with clasp). Was invalided home shortly afterwards. Appointed adjutant of the Royal Renfrew Militia, 27th May, 1881.

Lt Fallowfield ( Capt ) H.G 91st Regt Capt Fallowfield and Mills served with the Regt in the earlier phase of the war , being present at the battle of Gingindlovhu and the relief of Eshowe ; they were invalided to Durban in April and May but rejoined the Headquarters in July . 90th
