When I arrived in PMB in 1980 as a pharmacist, Turner's was still the main pharmaceutical wholesaler and traded under the same name. It changed its name in the mid 1980's and today trades as Midlands Wholesale Chemists. Just trivia for those interested.
From reports of the burial party at Isandlwana, most of the remains of the Carbineers were found but those of Bullock and London were not.

I think it would be only faire to say. With all the chaos on the Battlefield that day. It would have been a case of looking after number one when nearing the end of the Battle.
Make off the best you could, as did a lot of the officer’s who had Horses. Bullock and London probably tried to do just that, and died with some other group elsewhere on the Battlefield.
