I'm Sgt Windridge's GGGGrand-daughter.

I would love to hear from any descendants of Joe's.

My Great Grandmother was Elsie Windridge, from Birmingham. When she met my Great Grandfather, William Thompson she moved to South Wales where they set up home.

I don't know if you are still on the forum but I can say that there is a very sad history to Joe's life.
If you Google Sergeant Windridge Rorke's Drift defender, you will see down the websites, Mole's Genealogy. You will find a full story of his life. You will also see at the bottom people's messages claiming to be family members, some you may know.
