I chatted with Dawn on several occasions in a discussion forum a couple of years ago, where she mentioned the book, which was still in progress at that time, giving some details of the story. I seem to recall that I had convinced her a little bit that Col. Durnford was a good guy. She wrote the Redemption story on the other site, have you read it ? In another topic about the chance of a play about a mock Isandhlwana C.O.I., I think she offered to represent Frances Colenso, whilst I was Edward Durnford who had requested the trial, with Peter Quantrill as Defence Counsel and Ron Lock as the Judge overseeing the event. The latter was a very interesting concept.
