Hello

Is there someone who has pictures of guns and mules of the Royal Artillery 11 / 7 ?

Its 7 pdrs RML guns are desined to be mounted on the small, narrow 'Abyssinian' carriage,it could either be dragged by three mules in tandem,or dismantled and carried on pack mules ...

With photos, I might be making it to 1 / 56 scale...

But to be used, what should be quite large and very clear ...

Cheers

Pascal

Pascal,

Here is a photograph of 3rd Brigade, Royal Artillery, taken at Shoeburyness post-1881. In the photograph are examples of three of the artillery pieces used in the Zulu War of 1879.

Thank you, it gives me an idea already for the height of 7 pdrs RML gun on this type of carriage, but for the mules?

This is a subject always neglected by military historians and even more for players who use what they can ,eg : 7pdrs RML guns on 'Kaffraran carriages' for 7pdrs RML guns on 'Abyssinian carriages' and troughs of 9 pdrs rockets for tubes of 24 pdrs rocket ...

It does not work with me !My problem is with 7pdrs on 'Abyssinian carriages' that many served in Zululand ...

Be found ... Such a plan designed for the tubes of the 24pdrs rockets , as I can make
The color illustrations are unreliable in general....

I even have a model of trough for 24 pdrs rockets, while they have not served in Zululand!

What misery, I'll go crazy...

Cheers

Pascal, the crazy soon ...
