PostSubject: Blankets worn 'en banderole '...    Blankets worn 'en banderole '... EmptyMon Jan 16, 2012 7:45 am

Hi

There is a famous picture in the National Army Museum where we see the 91 st Highlanders on the march in Zululand.

Their blankets are worn 'en banderole '...

Are there more photos of this battalion in the campaign in Zululand or blankets are not worn in campaign or carried differently?

Cheers

Pascal

The old illustrations, they are shown without blankets in battle at Gingindlovu, but I trust that in some photos and stories of times ... scratch
