Anniversary of the Battle of Isandlwana Empty
PostSubject: Anniversary of the Battle of Isandlwana   Anniversary of the Battle of Isandlwana EmptyMon Jan 23, 2012 5:45 am

Today, Durban's morning newspaper, 'The Mercury', carries a front page colour photograph of a Zulu warrior and a redcoat locked in 'mortal combat'. The photograph was taken yesterday at a re-enactment performed at Isandlwana on the occasion of the anniversary of the battle.

The celebration was evidently well attended by Zulu dignitaries, which indicates that at least the Zulu leadership takes the history of their nation seriously. This is in marked contrast to the otherwise widespread disinterest and even antipathy amongst the Zulus to the Colonial history of Natal.

Hi

Not to mention that the other black ethnic groups believe that Zulus too collaborated with whites in the twentieth century ... all of black Africa should should celebrate this sublim victory of Isandhlwana, this is done on many African web sites ...

Cheers
