PostSubject: A Chance to shoot Rifles of the Zulu Wars    rifles - A Chance to shoot Rifles of the Zulu Wars EmptyMon Apr 16, 2012 9:09 am

On the 10th June 2012 I am offering a unique opportunity for the membership to Live fire the weapons of the Zulu Wars. I will have two places available at our club near Burton on Trent, to shoot at 110 yards outdoor range.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Rifles that will be shot will consist of:
An 1873 Enfield Mk1 Martini Henry, An 1876 Enfield Mk2 ,the 1884 Enfield Mk4, 1871 Mk3 BSA Snider Carbine, The Swinburn Henry carbine, also some fun shoot 310 Cadet and .22". All with 100% military Black powder loads, so it will be the full noise and smell of the battlefield.

As the day is designated as a club "guest day", and authorised by the Local Police force, it is a legal Chance to get to grips with the actual rifles of the conflict. I am going to supply the ammunition for the day, and I will not be charging, however, I am going to auction the day, with proceeds going to 50/50 Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes. The top two lucky bidders will be informed by the 1st June so get in your bids!.

The only stipulation is each bidder MUST have no criminal record, and be able to make there way to me in Loughborough before moving on to the range.

Bids can be made via the site P.M service, if anyone wants to donate to the day, no matter how small, it would be appreciated.
