| Subject: Medal to the 24th Foot - Price? Sat Apr 21, 2012 1:26 pm | |
| Hi
Please could someone give me an approximate price that I would have to pay for a medal to a private in the 2/24th Foot with clasps 1877-8-9, not a casualty or presnt at Islandlwana or Rorke's Drift.
Many Thanks
Dave |

| Hi Dave . Hopefully this is some help ? . Firstly Welcome to the fastest growing Forum on the net !. Dixons Medals had one ' Drummer ' .W.G.Woods 2398 2 / 24th 77-78-79 with Documents for 1, 450 GBP'S back on the 16 / 3 / 12 . It appears it's been sold . Scroll down to Corp.Bonner . http://www.historikorders.com/zulu.html They are the only one's that I've found for sale recently . The Bonner Medal at $ 2,300 USD equates to 1,426 GBP'S. Liverpool Medals sold 1 back in 2008 for 1,200 GBP'S , and 2 in 09 for 1,100 GBP'S each . So with this info I suppose 1,400 GBP'S seems to be close to the Mark . Bit Pricey though . cheers 90th.
