Good evening everyone

Someone is it well documented on the main uniforms differences of the British Army fighting in Zululand in 1888 and those of the British Army fighting in Zululand in 1879 ...

Thank you in advance for your help ...

Cheers

If you take a look at the uniforms of the Sudan campaigns circa 1885 the equipment would be roughly the same.
Khaki Drill, putties, P1882 equipment, Martini Mk2, possibly with P1887 sword bayonet, otherwise P76 bayonet.

Hello Neil

I love so passionate about everything related to the of the black nations in South Africa, Zulu, Khosa, Pedi, Swazi, Basotho, Matabele and of course also of the British military system , unfortunately the subject is so small that I have to interest me too , the Zulu wars of 1883 - 1888 ...

To save time I start to collect documentation for the future ... And it's very complicated ...

Cheers
