We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.

I think I will stick to my collecting priorities..
just for a laugh I opened pages at random on the Dutton roll and came up with
2198 Dixon 1/13th
3382 W Young 3/60th
437 Henry 88th etc
.. might struggle with Van Persie (maybe in the colonials) or Viera - but I reckon you could make up a pretty good team. Something to do for those dark winter evenings :lol: |

| van Persie is now a Man U player, however, a good Dutch name should not be too hard to find in the SA colonial units!

| well maybe at least we can recreate the famous back four _ i am sure we can find a Winterburn and a Bould - obviously if we want to add a goalie the naval rolls would provide a rich source of Seamen :lol: |
