"William Milbourne, was at the Chancery Bar, became Lord Justice and was Knighted. Married Maria daughter of Bishop Otter, and sister of the first Lady Belper, and had issue :- 

William who was in the Scots Greys, seeing service in the Zulu war, and in Egypt; he died in India; he married Effie, daughter of John Everitt Millais the President of the Royal Academy"

He isnt listed in Mack & Shad so it seems he wasnt an officer in the zulu war , many times people are listed as being in the ' zulu war '
but it seems any war against Natives is ' The Zulu War ' ! .

Hi All,
The above is all wrong, It should be William Milbourne James 1807-1881 Lord Justice. It was his son William Christopher James 2 Dragoons, who served in the Zulu War Died Lucknow India 1894.
