Hi All, Here is my latest work depicting a Corporal at Rorke's Drift. I was sent this to do by Rob Hardwick as thread on my modelling site as sort of a build commission. The figure is 120mm in scale and it not yet released but will be very shortly from Imperial Gallery which Rob owns. www.imperialgallery.co.uk
I thought it apt that I should title this "Sell our lives like soldiers" as this was part of a quote given by Corporal Lyons to the Cambrian in 1879. "Everyman fought dearly for his life, but we were all determined to sell our lives like soldiers, and keep up the credit of our regiment". Taken from Rorke's Drift by those who were there.
