"Richardson, Charles James. Second-lieutenant, 22nd January, 1879; lieutenant, 10th April, 1880. Served in the Zulu War in 1879 ; was present at the battle of Ginginhlovo, on which occasion he was in charge of the regimental colour, relief of Ekowe, and subsequent operations (medal with clasp)".

There a simple answer to that! Littlehand finds these chaps, and others add information. It's the reference side. We like to find out all we can about the individual. As you can see, 90th and John Young has added text, and Isandula as posted photos, next will be the Graves! surly you can see the benefit of that.

yeah impi,it would be simple! i get the adding of knowledge is very desirable!but huge swathes of it? seem's like i'm looking at a competition being conducted at breakneck speed! i was not criticizing..merely making an ob- servation.

Yes Mike, you constantly amaze me! in truth i simply dont have the time..i am reaping the benefit of people like yourself and others..but i have observed before..the speed of it all is fantastic..the left hand column is fairly whizzing along, and before i know it i'm constantly playing catch up lol. a very nice problem to have by the way! yes, cheers to you and your's this festive season.

Just for you Les . My namesake ! , from Mack & Shad . Lt Richardson Charles James , 91st regt , was also part of the advance of Crealock's Div to Port Durnford , Lt's Fraser and Richardson carried the Colours . 90th

Hiya Gary he was with the ' crawler's '. wish i could even say the same about that shower currently residing in Perth. Man City,however is a roll a coaster,much more exciting to me. by the way he was an ensign,2nd Lieutenant in Shad.
