I'm not sure, but i think he is with the 24th going by his helmit badge. It also looks like he has a Martini Henry Rifle.

Littlehand. I'm not sure he is with the 24th. I maybe wrong, but I think the cap badge is to large.
but it certainly looks like a Martini Henry Rifle. But that rifle was not just used in the Zulu War.

24th take a look at the size of the Helmit badge, on your user forum picture of Michael Cane. The Badge looks about the same size at the one on Little Hands photo. And I'm pretty sure that is a 24th Badge Michael Cane is wearing.

I used my trusty ( maybe not so trusty) magnifying glass , i think it is 37th or 30 something regt of foot, if you have access to the actual photo try a magnifying glass.
