Wishing everyone a happy Christmas and New year. Thoughts with John and Kris. Hoping New Evidence comes to light to add more weight to show David Jenkins did participate in the Defence of Rorke's Drift. Some official from that time.

What aload of rubbish TV has been over this festive seasonal holiday. The only decent program has been the faithful "Only Fools And Horses" Stills makes me laugh! Love the one liners.

Likewise all. OH2, I enjoyed ZD today. I know the film is loosely based on fact and is a work of fiction, but the whole Isandhlwana thing plays out as I imagine the events did. Clearly, there is artistic license in places, such as Chelmsford leaving the camp in daylight, but the Zulus observing the entry of the 3rd column across the Buffalo into Zululand, from the hills high above, and subsequently observing the column and its movements, its split etc, is exactly as I imagine it all happened. Still a great film.
