| Many occasions, the last time a few weeks ago. Its a lot more casual than iSandlwana, and a lot more 'rural'.

| Holts use iSandlwana Lodge, that's where 90th stayed. Nice place, overlooks the battlefield, but between the two down the hill is part of the village. the RD hotel is completely on its own overlooking the original drift and as I said very rural. Interestingly if you watch Zulu Dawn the place that 'Chelmsford' and Noggs have their first chat is exactly where the Hotel now stands. The crossing point in the film is directly below the Hotel Balcony.

| Hi Impi . Yes , it's the same difference in distance , , I think Les has posted some of my photos , which I took from my balcony at Isandlwana Lodge , which overlooked the plain , and the Mountain , as you can see the Rorke's Drift Hotel is basically on the Buffalo river . 90th  |

As 90th says, The RD Hotel is right next to the actual drift and the iSandlwana Lodge is on the Nyoni ridge at the battlefield. So yep exactly the same distance, that is unless you walk the bridal trail/old footpath then its around 9 miles.
