Any member blatantly corresponding in a deliberate and provoking manner will be removed from the forum as quickly as possible after the event.

We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

Retired as Lieut.-Col. Barristerat-law, Inner Temple, 1888 . Member of the British Medical Society..m. d. in Edinburgh, Jan. 23, 1911."

| Date of Birth - 26th July 1839 Assistant Surgeon - 30th September 1864 Surgeon - 1st March 1873 Surgeon Major - 30th September 1876 South African War - 1879 - Zulu Campaign. Medal. Source ‘1884 Army List’ (p 978 & 1359) (4th July 1879 to 26th October 1879). Died 23rd January 1911. South Africa Medal with clasp 1879.  |

David Renton AMS served zulu war, born 1836/37 Ayton Berwickshire, to Retired Pay 1884-1893, died Edinburgh 1911, buried Ayton Churchyard Berwickshire.
