| Also Ian Travender excellent work, the published casualty roll for the combined Gcalekas, Gailas and Zulu wars.
This reference work I have not heard of before. Do any of our literary experts have any information about it |

| hi dtsg. I have Tavender"s Casualty Roll For the ZULU and BASUTO WARS sth africa 1877-78-79. It depends what you want, its a book of lists from the regt"s, imperial , naval and colonial. Which took part in the wars. Gives rank, name, and where they were killed, wounded and date. Nothing else, no story from the conflicts, a total of 53 pages. I found it very informative, instead of reading 1400 killed at isandlwana , this gives you their names regt's and rank. hope this helps. cheers 90th. |
