"Archibald Francis Campbell-Johnston appointed 2nd Lieutenant, 3rd Foot, 21 June 1879. Served in Natal during the Zulu War. Promoted to Lieutenant, 24 October 1880 and Captain, 1 July 1887. Later appointed Adjutant of the 1st Volunteer Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment"

Littlehand I couldn't find a Johnston in the 2/3 Regt . According to Mackinnon & Shadbolt there was a H.F.C Johnston , 91st Regt , there wasn't an A.F.C. Johnston mentioned at all . Seems your entry may be possibly incorrect , where did you find it ? 90th

He's on the medal roll as Second Lieutenant, A.F.C. Campbell-Johnston, SAGS, No clasp. He was late of the West Sussex Militia.
