Happy New Year gents,
I've seen in another place a notice of a lecture on this fascinating man coming soon. Does anyone know where he is buried? His profile here says St Marys Church, but not the address. Any offers?
Regards

I know the woman who's doing the Gardner lecture , she's been researching him thoroughly , she has contact with his relatives , I can assure you she will know her / his stuff . She's done from memory 3 - 4 trips with Ian & Co , I've had the pleasure of her company on two such trips . 90th

Hi Tim A friend of mine was the instigator of the Gardner clean up , she held a Memorial Service and Presentation on Gardner at the local Church on the 22nd January 17 , the Presentation featured the very Readings and Hymns that were used on the day of Gardner's Funeral , which was on the 15th Jan 1908. She , and her partner paid for all costs , and also managed to raise nearly 400 GBP's for the Church in the process . A job well done I believe . 90th

An excellent job - I remember the headstone was quite hard to read when I visited some time ago, good to see it's been rectified.
Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim She has become fascinated with Gardner , his life and family . I'm fairly certain she's researching his career / life in the view to release a publication some time down the track . Cheers Mate 90th

Does anyone know why the gravestone was replaced with Coulston as his middle name when the authoress states this is an error and is Colstoun?
