He came to Adelaide South Australia in late 1879, with another friend Mr Moodie. Together they put on a show of artefacts from the war, items taken during different battles including a bloodied assegai. It was a bit of a surprise to learn of this connection, which ended up with a lot of research of George Hamilton Browne, which differs totally from that which has been attributed to him. Firstly he was born in 1851 in Bonn, and he went to New Zealand late 1871, to work on a property in Picton. I can do that in the section, but perhaps Admin will tell me if I can load a PDF file, or does it have to be in word. And I am no good at trying to get images loaded, there must be a trick.
