The Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh's collection of VCs Empty
PostSubject: The Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh's collection of VCs   The Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh's collection of VCs EmptyTue Jul 09, 2019 1:20 pm

I thought members of the forum may like to know that the eight original AZW VCs in the Museum's collection are now on display. Exhibited to coincide with King Goodwill of the Zulu Nation's visit to Brecon later this month, the medals will be available to view until October 2019.

Although I'm sure I don't need to provide anyone who visits these pages with this information, those on display were awarded to Lieutenants Melvill, Coghill and Bromhead, Corporal Allen and Privates Hitch, Hook, Jones and Williams.

This is a unique opportunity to see these iconic medals, and I hope many of you make the trip to Brecon to see them.

Thanks for reading this post and best wishes to each of you.
