Hopefully Neil Aspinshaw see's this post , he's an expert on them and other rifles from the period , and does I think sell them from time to time . He'd be the only person I'd deal with in regarding a MH.

Neil's your man if you arent comfortable with buying off your own look - there are a lot of options out there but my recommendations would be who not to buy from rather than the other way round - nearly all of mine have come through private sales over the years - there are lots of sharks out there - and you can pay a little or a lot for something - just cause it is expensive doesnt always make it right so buyer beware.

Thanks for the answers. I agree with you regarding sharks. I hope that Neil does see post. I do have a nice snider, however looking for a rear sight if you could help ?

Dyson occasionally has spare Enfield rear sights which would work for a Snider but you need to grab them when you see them - a lot are used by ACW reeanctors to defarb their Indian repro Enfields
