............May I impose on one of you gentlemen, to find if 1/24th Foot 1423 Private William Gregg/Greig was entitled to the bar "1877-8-9" or "1879", please.

When I moved from Toronto to Nova Scotia, one box didn't make the trip: all of my research and special hand-assembled binder of info went AWOL. The moving company compensates lost containers by weight, only. I believe that it was $22 that I received, after much perseverance on my part. Time to re-build.

1423 Private W. Gregg 1/ 24th KIA ; according to the Rolls was entitled to the clasp 1879.
