Zulu Dawn:“Excuse me, my Lord, there's something I must convey to you. I rode along the track down to Rorke's Drift. The sky above is red with fire. Your orders my Lord? Do we move to the drift?”

Hello all, thank you for accepting me in your forum. I have, for more years than I care to remember, been a student of military history. Predominately American (I am in the states) and Western European military history. The Anglo/Zulu war has been, and remains, one of the most intriguing to me. Indeed, I have a Martini-Henry Mk.II on order from IMA as we speak. Again, thank you and I look forward to learning much from your forum.

I have, as well as “Zulu” many times.  I also follow a podcaster named Christian Parkinson (redcoathistory.com) and I have read here and there of the battles the Zulu had during their fighting with the British. Christian Parkinson is English, but lives in South Africa from where he does his podcasts.  I am absolutely not an expert on anything.
