LUCK OF THE MINERS. Each one of the nine Socialists who has been given a walk over is miner. Two of them at least are ex-soldiers. Col. Watts Morgan, who had the best sergt.- major’s voice in the last House of Commons, gained the D.S.O. The other is an ex regular and a veteran of another war. Mr. George Barker, who served for seven years in the Buffs and gained a medal and clasp in the Zulu war.— Mr, Gossip, Daily Sketch.
