Proceeded on Transport Service to SA in November 1878. Officer Commanding at Stanger on the lines of communications during the first phase of the war. Served as D.A.G. in the 1st Division from the date of its formation till the conclusion of oeprations. (Mentioned in depatches, Brevet of Lieut.-Col)

Hi All,
A.L. Walker was born in 1840 in Enfield Middlesex, the 1891 census he is living Devizes, by 1901 he is retired living Enfield with his sisters. He dies 12 Feb 1918 Marlborough Buildings Bath. He was buried in St Mary the Virgin Churchyard Bathwick Bath, Plot G.L.29.
There is info on the findagrave website but no picture of the grave.
